WMC Ends Discipline of Bellevue Doctor

OLYMPIA, WA - On August 22, 2019, the Washington Medical Commission (WMC) accepted a termination order, which ended the conditions placed on the license of David Newell, MD (MD00021288) of Bellevue, King County. Previously Newell had an Agreed Order with the commission which found he committed unprofessional conduct in violation of RCW 18.130.180(1).

In July of 2016, Newell was arrested on allegations involving patronizing a prostitute and in February 2017 he plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of sexual exploitation.
