Education

Physicians must complete 200 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) every 4 years. Part of the mission of the Medical Commission is to educate our licensees to assure that quality healthcare is being provided. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways, but the Medical Commission offers a free annual conference, original and reoccurring webinars, and a self-paced opioid prescribing CME. Read more about your CME requirements.

The Medical Commission also provides learning opportunities for members of the general public, employees of the health care industry, legislatures and their staff and schools. In fact the Medical Commission has a dedicated speaker’s bureau to facilitate learning opportunities for any interested person or organization.
