OLYMPIA, WA - A Washington Medical Commission panel of Commissioners held a hearing to determine whether Thomas Osten, MD (MD00011131), violated the Uniform Disciplinary Act sections (1) moral turpitude and (7) statutes regulating the profession, and Washington law regarding sexual misconduct and abuse of a patient.

Dr. Osten is placed on probation for three years with sanctions on his license that are outlined in the order. Of note, Dr. Osten has filed a petition for judicial review of the hearing order under RCW 34.05.542. That aspect of the case is pending.
