Out of state doc surrenders WA license

OLYMPIA, WA - The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) has accepted the voluntary surrender of the license to practice medicine by Dr. Jodee M. Anderson (MD00049081).

Dr. Anderson was under disciplinary action from the Oregon Medical Board and entered into a Stipulated Order (STID) for unprofessional or dishonorable conduct; gross or repeated acts of negligence; and willful violation of rule. Per statute the WMC must carry out the same standards in licensing.

Dr. Anderson broke the conditions of the Oregon STID by prescribing Phentermine and therefore also did not follow the conditions on her Washington state license. She has surrendered her license permanently.

Legal documents in this case are available online by visiting the Washington Department of Health Provider Credential Search website.

The Washington Medical Commission promotes patient safety and enhances the integrity of the medical profession through licensing, rule-making, discipline, and education. Learn more about the commission at WMC.wa.gov. Follow the Medical Commission on Facebook and Twitter.
