King County Doctor on Probation

OLYMPIA, WA - A Washington Medical Commission panel of Commissioners held a hearing to determine whether Jeong H. Kim, MD (MD00036606), violated the Uniform Disciplinary Act, sections (1) regarding moral turpitude, (4) incompetence, negligence, or malpractice, (7) state or federal statute or rule and (24) abuse or sexual contact with a client or patient, the standard of care, and Washington Administrative Code (WAC) sections on sexual misconduct and abuse. Dr. Kim was found in violation. 

According to the hearing order issued on December 10, 2021, only one charge was dismissed which was: WAC 246-919-640(1)(d) - engaging in verbal or physical conduct that demeans, humiliates, embarrasses, threatens, or harms a patient. Dr. Kim is placed on probation with restrictions to his license for at least five years.
