Idaho Physician Exonerated in Washington

OLYMPIA, WA - The Washington Medical Commission has determined restrictions it placed on the license of Robert Mena, MD, of Jerome, Idaho, in 2014 no longer had a lawful basis.  This determination comes after a March 2019 Idaho Supreme Court decision vacated an order Dr. Mena had with the Idaho State of Board Medicine.  The Commission used that order as a basis for its 2014 restrictions.   Dr. Mena’s Washington license expired in 2015 and remains expired; however, Dr. Mena’s disciplinary record in Washington will no longer reflect the 2014 action.
