OLYMPIA, WA – The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) accepted the permanent surrender of the license to practice medicine of Grant County oral surgeon Thomas J. Laney, MD (MD00024468). 

Dr. Laney is alleged to have practiced below standard of care in his treatment of a patient who experienced complications during a dental extraction procedure. 

Through this license surrender, Dr. Laney is not eligible to renew or reactivate his license.
