Former Pierce County Medical Examiner Charges Dismissed

OLYMPIA, WA - In December 2021, a Washington Medical Commission (WMC) panel of Commissioners held a hearing to determine whether Thomas B. Clark, III, MD (MD60149470), violated the Uniform Disciplinary Act. The hearing also addressed a possible violation of RCW 68.50.105, which requires coroners and medical examiners to meet with decedent's family to discuss the findings of an autopsy or postmortem examination.
 
According to the hearing order issued on January 27, 2022, the charges were dismissed. The Public Records Act provides the right to any publicly disclosable information contained in the file. Interested parties may submit a request through the DOH Health Systems Quality Assurance Public Disclosure Unit portal.
